Erebos soared through the cloudless sky. Stars were starting to appear, though it was not yet dark outside. The orange hue of the sun reflected off the snow covered mountaintops. His scales themselves shone a slightly orange color.
That had not gone as planned, that Forcemage ruined everything. If the others would have just stayed inside...
His mind covered all the options as he sought a suitable place to land.

Ashlyn fell back far enough so that she couldn't be seen, landing silenly into a nearby tree.

((There will be no OOC setup for this thread. That way none will see what I have in store coming. In a sense, it forces you to RP your characters and develop them. I'll post here later tonight.))

((Tsk tsk... the rule is now in place, and what did we forget to put in the title? Shame... shame... *Wink* It's okay... this once. Oh, and for the record, I won't be in this one. I will read up, though.))

Erebos circled the sky for a moment, losing altitude as he did. There was a funny smell from the trees...just another animal, he thought. Moving closer to an open area of the woods, his rotations became slower and slower, peering for any sign of being followed.

Ashlyn cocked her bow quietly, knowing that she would probably be noticed by a dragon. She had been brought up in these kind of situations, and even if she were as silent as a shadow, she had learned that, as she was their prey, anyone was usually noticeable, whether it be by her sent, or just her presence itself. So she prepared herself for the worst. "You'll pay for what you did to Aegis you..." she whispered curses under her breath.

He should be around these woods shouldn't he? The Mage had the blue hood of his cloak up, and hovered on the ground of the forest quickly, making no noise. A non-detection spell he'd ccast in preparation would block any magical means of sensing him as well, he didn't want the dragon to know he was being followed. Of course he'd lost sight of him, but flying upwards to the top of a tree might be too risky for the moment. As he noticed the clearing ahead, he also began to hear the sounds of the beasts wings flapping. It was circling back around?! He backed up and stood by a tree, peering darkly att the beast above. No... it was just scanning the area.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" came a whisper from above. Ashlyn's golden eyes looked down from the tree to the mage. She looked back up to the circling dragon. "He's looking for a place to land." The demon changed her position and held her hand down to Magus. "It'll be safer in the tree."

"You are planning on attacking that thing aren't you?" Magus asked likewise in a whisper. "I'd advise against that, at least for the moment, We should see what it wants first." He did not take her hand, leaping up to a lower branch, undoubtedly with the aid of magic.

Ashlyn cocked her bow again. "Well, how do you propose we do that?"

"Once it lands," he said, peering at it again with a discerning leer. "We ask it." He kept his hood up, allowing the sun to keep out of his eyes while he kept sight on the black beast above.

"Just that simple huh?" She looked down at the lower branch. "He sertanly took that well last time didn't he? You gonna' make it your ribs that get cracked this time?" She said coldly. "Are you going to block all his fireballs? Are you-" Finding how rude she had just been, she looked down further in shame. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have talked like that." She looked up at the dragon again. "He's gonna' pay." She hissed.

Tucking his wings back, Erebos made a rapid dive toward the clearing. Moments before striking the ground, he extended them once more and flapped against the momentum. With a sublte 'thud' the dragon hit the ground. At the very moment of landing, the dragon began transforming back into Raiku, who was by far more difficult to spot. Raiku stood for a moment, taking in the environment.

Ashlyn looked down to Magus. "Well, if you want to ask him, now's your chance. I'll wait here until you're done or whatever." She squatted down on her large branch and looked at her arrow, observing exactly what the strange man with the weird cat had done to it.
