Aramil rose to his feet, and brushed himself off, trying to think of something other than what he just saw. A task that the discipline being instilled in him sure helped with. "I'll be back in a minute," he told them, and made to move off into the woods.

((Well, nothing is coming of that, so I am ignoring Aramil and guessing he's already returned.)) A few hours later, the party had arrived the on the outskirts of the human village of Garchek. It was not that big at all, and the houses were on the smaller side. There was one very large structure, however; the tavern and inn. Things had cooled down, and for the most part the walk had been in silence. Now Dark turned to the party. "It is much like our village. The inn is actually quite nice, and the tavern's food is not bad for humans... no offense, Naburine." Naburine waved a hand. "None taken. I hate human food. Why do you think I stick with you guys?"

"...I think they will be fine without me for a night." Riki said in a softer tone, placing a hand gingerly at Dark's waist. "Think they've enough room for us all though?

Dark felt a shudder run up her spine at her husband's gentle touch... she had not felt it for such a long time. She had missed it. Dark looked up at him with a smile. "They're in the middle of nowhere. They'll have room. We don't have the whole village with us, anyway. You sure the other men will be okay? I feel bad... I think they took some of the things I said the wrong way."

"All that matters is my family." Rikimaru answered simply. "I will concern myself with them at another time. Let's hope this place isn't as...eventful as our own tavern..."

Along the walk toward the village a shadow that seemed to walk and stand slowly materialized, and faded into the familiar blue-haired form of Magus. He didn't speak, but seemed relativly calmer now that he had a chance to be alone and think. Aramil had returned almost a few minutes after his quick departure, without any comment at all, and tried to maintain a sense of maturity, perhaps overcompensating a bit. His feet were sore from all the walking, and his legs were getting tired, but he tried his hardest not to complain... There was a very noticible excitement however when he caught sight of the inn. "Umm.. Am I gonna get a room to myself, or am I gonna hafta share with someone..?" Aramil asked, looking around.

"It all depends on the availability, hun. We'll see when we get there. As to the energy, it is nothing like home in that sense. These humans have been through a lot, and they are not very lively. They are kind, however."

Perin had gone up and ordered that they all be housed. She wasnt very polite about it and the owner looked mildly offended. After some quiet words he gulped and nodded accepting the gold the halfling handed over. "Alright. As hard as i tried they wouldn't kick all the other occupants out of the inn so we all have to double up with someone. Deekin you're with me." Deekin nodded and started packing up his things.
"But if you make too much noise i'm kicking you out." The silver haired halfling said as she made her way up the stairs. Her companion gave a nervous and half hearted smile before he followed her up. "And get me food!"
"Y-yes Boss!" Deekin squeaked and ran off to fetch his 'friend' a meal. It was clear she was in a bad mood.

Nabruine's caramel eyes narrowed, but she turned about to address the party in a calm voice. "I call Aramil." She looked at the elfling. "If that's alright with him, that is."
Shivelle's face fell slightly at the "pairing up" comment. She looked out of the corner of her eye to Magus... but he looked like he had no real reaction... "Um... I will sleep outside if someone really does not want to pair up..."
Dark, who had just finished consoling the poor man at the front, walked up. "I suppose it is obvious who my roommate will be... but I don't want anyone to be left alone outside if we can help it."

Aramil blinked, rather surprised that not only was he one of the first to be called, but that he was wanted at all. He smiled a bit, which then led straight to a big grin. "Okay!" he exclaimed with enthusiasm. Even if it was only a room for the night, it was the thought that counted. He felt wanted in this adventure finally.
Magus glanced at Shivelle, looking at her expression. His face remained solemn as always, but then again it rarely changed unless he was angry, or other..certain circumstances. "I'll purchase a room, but I don't want any visitors disturbing my peace," he remarked, looking toward Perin, Deekin, and Aramil. "Shivelle, you're welcome to share my room," he added afterwards, returning the center of his attention to the saddened young woman, looking at her red hair in the darkness. She really was striking...Odd. What brought that thought into his head. Regardless, he made a move toward the Inn, his cloak flowing as he walked. He'd make the appropriate reservations.
Aramil peered toward Rikimaru with a smile. "Don't worry, if there's any events, I'll take care of them for ya. You have a good rest, I bet you an' Dark have alot to catch up on." with the nievety of youth, he then hopped right beside Naburine, and beamed up at her, ready to follow.

Naburine grinned beneath her mask. She did not particularly like children, but this kid was different. She wanted him with her mainly because she did not want to share a room with anyone else... no men were going to be in her room, no matter what the circumstances, and she had been hoping Magus would invite Shivelle into his room. Happy that he had woken up and done it, she was ready to go in. "Come on, then, kid. We'll get ourselves a room; I've got some money on me." She made her way to the door, looking back at her vampiress friend with a wink before disappearing into the inn.
Shivelle's red eyes aquired a happier glint after Magus had spoken to her. He was not upset at her after all! She ran her fingers through her midnight hair, the large red streaks within shifting about as it fell back down to her back. She made a somewhat embarassed face when the ninja girl had winked at her, but it was not enough to make her upset again. She looked at Dark and Riki with a hint of a smile. "I wish you two a good night. And Dark... thank you. I'm not upset about what you said anymore. I know it was for our good." With that, she walked in after the mage, leaving Dark and her husband out in the twilight alone.

Riki smirked beneath his mask at the comment of young Aramil. "Why thank you young one. I'll take console in your strength." He said with a wink. "And yes...I do beelive there is much for me and Lady Dark to catch up on." The silver haired assassin said with a slight bow.

((Okay...))
The morning was beautiful. There were only distant trees now that they were in a village, and the sunrise was painted with gorgeous colors. Dark sat on the bed she shared with her husband, watching the sunrise out of the window. She decided that she would wake people up about an hour after sunrise in order to get them to eat and be on their way if they were not already out of bed by that time, so she had a while yet before she had to stop her sight-seeing.
