Dark thought for a moment. "It could be a Velph. If 'he' is going southwest, there is a possibility that we'd go to the Forest of the Velphs to persue 'him,' which is something I really would not want to do. I have been there many times before, and each time is a terrible experience." She turned to look back at the village. "I wonder where they are...? Hey, where's Firebird?"
Naburine's caramel eyes widened. "Oh," and she cussed... pretty loudly, which earned her a hard look from the sorceress for using such language with Aramil atop her shoulders. But she paid no heed. "I left him in the stable. Do you think they're getting him?"

Magus nodded, knowing that she would want privacy in the abominations she had to do for survival.. it would be painful to watch for him as well, not for the victim's sake, but for Shivelle's, even though she would revel in it most like... He glanced back at her after walking away a bit, then moved toward the stables, finding the horse penned up, his pack off of him. Magus gave a glance to the Stableboy, which scared him out of his wits. "The pack saddle," he remarked, pointing to it. "You attatch it, I'll lift it. I have a need for haste, so do try and be quick..." the way Magus said this came off as more of a threat than he'd expected, but it worked for his needs. The boy did, indeed post haste, and was so distracted in untying the leather strips and attatching buckles and straps here that he didn't notice Magus was levitating the saddle onto the horse. At least not until after he noted the Mage hadn't moved from his spot once the horse's saddle and equipment were completely reattatched. He then proceeeded to faint, barely missing a most unfortunare accident by inches. Magus took the handle of the bridle and led the horse out, though the animal didn't like the mage much. Pity that it was a pack saddle, and not saddlebags that they were using, he'd have to walk the horse to the rest of the party. As he left the stables, the sorcerer peered at Shivelle, grimacing abit as he held his stomach at the ravenous sight, then proceeded toward the other side of town.

((Silly goose, there's no way she'd do it with him still in the room))
Shivelle grimaced as well as she waited near the dead men's bodies for Magus to lead Firebird out. She hated doing this. But it was for everyone else's protection. I she could feed now, she would not have to worry about it for at least a month. The demon within her had been struggling for freedom the past couple of days; not so much that it was difficult, but it was always uncomfortable when she started to notice it. She glanced at the poor, unconscious stable boy to make sure he was really not awake, and then proceeded to release her will to hold the demon in; the constant struggle that nobody else knew she went through. Her natural self emerged, wings sprouting and her fangs elongating along with her nails. She fought to withhold the scream of agony that threatened to burst from her ruby lips. She had gone through this so many times, but the pain was always so much. She fell to her hands and knees, clutching hay in her fists to release some of the tension and in effort to keep the cries within herself. Her leathery wings were covered in her own blood by the time it was finished, having torn through the flesh of her back, and blood from her damaged gums dripped down her fangs. She had no time to recover. Now that she was her natural self, the reason of the vampires took its place in her mind. No morals mattered. She needed to feed and get out. With that in mind, she ignored the wounds that Perin had made in one of the mans' body and made two punctures in his neck. Blood began to seep, and she suckled it out of the wound as fast as she could, but it was not fast enough. She needed to get out. There was haste to be made. Growling, she did what she had to and slit open the man's throat with her now claw-like nail. Much better.
Naburine found herself immensely relieved as she caught sight of the blue-haired mage leading her black stallion toward them. She wondered where Shivelle could be, but did not let that thought take over her gratefulness of someone getting her steed. "I guess that answers my question."

Perin looked at Magus and then turned her gaze back to Dark. "Shall we go off then? I am assuming we will not need to wait for our other missing party memeber. Just as well, come let us go. The longer we tarry the farther our prey gets from us."

Dark looked at Magus in question to see if that was indeed the case. "That sounds like a good plan to me. Is Shivelle coming, Magus?"

"She'll catch up," The mage responded, looking to Dark. "The blood did not sit well with her," he explained off hand, walking forward, his indigo cape flowing as he stepped. Aramil nodded. "I used to get queasy too.. but Not anymore. I outgrew that.." said the very brave elf.

Dark understood the comment that Aramil had not, however. She looked rather serious and saddened for only the slightest degree of a second, before nodding and saying, "Very well then. Let's go."

Perin pushed herself off of the tree and started up a quick pace towards the southwest. She wanted to catch up to this thief as quickly as possible so that she could get her pay and move on. This group was beginning to wear her down. She knew that soon she would end up doing something rash like killing one of them. She just felt the stress weigh heavily on her shoulders. She wanted to get away and dabble in some politics. The halfling sighed. That would be so relaxing.

Shivelle had finished quickly; at least, more quickly than usual. Now with the demonic side fed, she had more control over it. She forced the demon down and back, shutting her natural self out and calling upon the spell that Dark had worked so hard and long on. As a result, her fangs shortened and her wings retracted, as did her nails. It hurt, sure, but it was nothing compared to the tearing she felt when it emerged. Finally, it was done. She had dried blood on her back, she knew, and on her chin. She moved to the watering trough, splashed some water upon herself to rinse it off, and then quickly left, not trusting herself to look at the bodies she had just fed upon, knowing it would be too much for her more human-like emotions to bear. The poor stable boy would have nightmares for the rest of his life of the scene he would discover when he woke up.
Naburine held Aramil's legs with one hand and Firebird's reigns in the other. He seemed slightly more calm now with Naburine so near her; he never really cared for Magus. The ninja looked, with slight difficulty due to the elf on her shoulders, behind her to see Shivelle walking briskly through the village. There was some noise coming from back there... Perin's annoying people must have been found wherever she had left them. "We'd better get under the cover of the trees," the ninja girl said. "We might have a mob after us if we don't."

The halfling's hands twitched towards her weapons but she nodded and scampered up a tree like it was no one's business. She could feel bloodlust enter her system and wished her bracers werent cursed. She could feel her hands twitching almost violently and closed her eyes to try and calm herself. Perin wished once again that she was not in this groop of good doers. She wished that she could just let herself be taken by the curse on her bracers and kill off the whole village. It would be so much easier. But, It was almost amazing that such a simple thought could squelch the burning need to kill that was inside her. If I did that I probably wouldn't get paid.

"Sounds fun! Let's go!" cheered the lil' elf gleefully, raising in the air a little fist. He never seemed to lose his spirit. His emerald green eyes kept a lookout on the road ahead of them, never what was behind them.. which hopefully was NOT an angry mob.
Magus peered at Shivelle carefully, slowing his gait a bit to be side-by-side with her. He gave her an 'are you alright?' gaze as they continued walking forward.
"So, what are we up against next? Will there be monsters to fight? Or will it require magical expertise?" asked the little elf, piping up again, peering at Dark. "BEcause I'm ready for anything."

Shivelle answered his look with a self-loathing, guilty-looking half-smile. It was supposed to be an 'I'm like I usually am after that' look. 'I'm fine, but I hate myself. Thanks for asking, have a nice day.'
Dark answered, "Well, the first thing on our list is to run away, so be ready for that." The length of her graceful stride increased as she moved faster. The tumult was growing louder behind them, and she certainly wanted to be out of the way before they became organized and noticed them. They were almost within the little wood; once in there, she knew they would be safe. Perin was already in one. Inwardly, Dark sighed. It was that halfling's fault this was happening, anyway.

One of the villagers yelled over the tumult that he had seen travelers moving through the fields on the western side of the village, though he had not really seen exactly where the murderous travelers had gone. The villagers separated and went through the woods and fields to the west, searching for any sign of a traveling party. After about forty-five minutes of searching, they gave up and returned to the village, cursing whoever could have done such a thing. All they could do now was mourn the innocent blood spilt and bury their losses.

Dark sighed once they all went back. She then muttered an incantation (which was very odd; she was using something other than normal sorcery) and the feeling of being safe and enclosed disappeared. The elf only just contained her aggitation when she addressed Perin. "It takes a lot of energy to maintain a force-field like that. Making everyone avoid or not notice an entire party of travelers and a horse is not easy, even for ten minutes. I would appreciate it if you left people alone from now on in villages. We lost nearly an hour of travel time." She sat down next to a tree and massaged her temples, closing her eyes. "Now then, is there anything else that you found out?"

Perin looked at the sorceress lazily. "We could have been on our way much faster. But I didn't think you would appreciate my form of art. I find that blood inspires me. I become very poetic." She ended on a sarcastic note and turned around so that she was facing northeast. She felt very irked that the sorceress thought she could be scolded like a child. "No I dont know any more." Even if I did I would not disclose it to you after that. she sneered and picked up the pace. The faster they found this stupid thing the quicker she could go off and do her own thing.
