Aegis noted the group of men that saluted the leader. He nocked an arrow and released, it went through the head of a bandit reletively close to the door of the tent, and into the heart of the man behind him. Aegis smirked andd found what appeared to be a ninja. He wanted to shoot him, but he heard some rustling behind him, he turned and shot a bandit point blank in the face. He turned around again to fire at the leader, but he was gone... Aegis jumped backwards off the cliff he was shooting from, and scouted for another area to snipe from.

This was amusing.
"Men! Formation delta!"
All of the bandits who were under the command of this leader, now took up a line behind him. First there were several rows of swordsman wearing heavy battle armor, making arrows ineffective. Then there was a line of archers dressed in black and dark green robes, giving them an edge in the darkness. Then surrounding the lines of men, there were men who were dual wielding short swords, and dressed in clothes camoflagued so perfectly, that detecting them was near impossible with which the speed they moved at.
"Hawk Eyes! To the forest! Take out all of the targets! Go!"
"Yes sir!" they all responded in unison. Then in the next instant, they were gone into the forest. Everyone who was not a part of the bandit army, was shot at with perfect precision, aimed for either the heart or the head. These were no ordinary bandits; this was a military force to be reckoned with, and soldiers who were given the best of training.
"Forward!" All of the soldiers complied obediently and began walking forward with their leader. If these men came in contact with one of the opposing members, they would find themselves in a fight that they would never forget. These were trained soldiers, not greedy men. There was a large difference in skill, and their leader was the strongest of all of them.

One of the arrows caught Aegis in the leg. He grunted, he did not want to give away his position, it was merely a strock of luck that this arrow could come falling over the cliff he just now jumped off. He sat behind a tree, and drank a potion he purchased at Zephyr's Grand Emporium (For all your shopping needs!). The potion eliminated the infection of the wound and closed it. But it hurt none the less. He waited behind the tree until he could manage to get up. As he waited he heard several footsteps from the other side of the tree. He saw three men dual wielding shortswords parading through the woods. He only wished he could gather the strentgh the shoot them.

These solders to Ivan's knowledge obviously were not of the regular military... But of a different order.
This situation has now become chaos. Ivan had to change his tactics. He then disappeared into the forest, using the shadow to his advantage.
Ivan is now going to show these men what becomes of the enemy of a Ranger in the forests of the night.

Then from out of nowhere, Gilderoth came flying from what looked like the sky. He pulled his sword and began to battle with the 3 men giving Aegis the time he needed to heal, catch his strength and run. As he was battling, one man he had already cut down, shot him in the middle of the back causing extreame amounts of pain. He screamed and grinned, this was the determination he needed to win. He raised from the ground, sliced up the last standing man, walked over to the wounded bandit, and cut off his head. After catching up with Aegis he began to walk back to all the battle, harmlessly yancked out the arrow, nocked it into his bow, and stuck down 5 bandits with one shot.

Aegis aimed a nod of appreciation to Gilderoth, his help (impossible as it may be ) saved his life. His leg was healed enough to run, so he searched for another capital sniping spot.

(I do too... And when I am God-modded without my own consent, I do tend to do a little back myself. I'm not named the God-modder of my home site because I can, but because I do it with style. You can't simply hack up these soldiers - they are highly trained, and simply shooting five with one shot is impossible, due to the armor. As for hitting the Hawk Eyes', good luck. This tactic is meant to split all of the opposing fighters up. So what is the solution?)

(read the whole thread dude)
Aegis spotted a small hill to his right with decent tree cover. He jumped on the tree and scaled to the top, one of the branches cut his cheek, but he didnt let a minor inconvience like that interfere. He turned and waited for any foolish creature to wander into his sight.

Suddenly, a man walked right in front of him. He said "Hey what is going on, why is there so much killing young grasshopper". His name was, Xerox and he was the master of all Knowledge. He knew very much, but he specialized in healing powers as a helper to those of good.

The solders were in the woods now, searching for their prey... Yet in Ivan's mind they were the prey, and he was the predator.
A few minutes later there came a dozen solders in a straight side by side line sweeping through the forest moving very quietly...They hardly made a sound.
Ivan admitted to himself that these guys were well trained, but he will never know how good they really are until he made his move. But the timing has to be perfect, regardless of the enemy's skill level.
Ivan then crept in the shadows among the trees waiting for the right moment...
