Raiku wanted to stop the boy...but he wanted to learn about the screams as well. He followed quickly after him towards the horrific scene.

Along the path both of the boys encountered Traent. His face was hardset and his eyes had no hint of the laughter from the game only so short before. He spoke gravely as he barred their path. "Only Death waits for you that way."

Raiku tried to see past Traent. He did'nt see much, but he did see lots of fire. "Yeah, he's right. Our parents will meet us later."

"You're all idiots, we have to move! Don't go running off like that unless you want to burn to death too!" Anarys shouted angrily. The elven official with the bow placed a hand on Anary's head, as if to tell him to calm down. Nary stopped shouted and turned on heel. "We have to get back right away." muttered the boy as he began walking.
"If we get separated, make your way to the city keep. Do not stop for anyone or anything you may see." the grown elf with the bow stated. It just occured to Anarys as he turned to face him that this elf was wearing chainmail. Anarys, in all his years, had never seen an elf armed so heavily.

Raiku was rather unhappy. Not only did he not like getting told what to do, but also this battle ruined his game...He didnt have time to argue, so he simply ran toward the others.

Traent had done what he could. He ran past the strange boy who was still standing there and headed off with the others, ducking aside into the foilage again, out of sight, but assuredly traveling along side them.

Hajime hadn't stopped but rather continued onwards before any of their words were spoken. Leaping out of the trees, he landed on the ground and broke into a heavy and quick sprint. His feet touched the grass so softly that the blades did not waiver at his passing. He had to find out, for the sake of the people who were taken care of him. They were elderly and not capable of such things as running. He had to.

"We go." the armored official from the city stated. It was clearly not a question or a request. Two more similarly armored elves arrived with bows drawn, looking around the area. "What about-" Anarys asked, seeing that not all of them were here. "There is no time. If everyone is not here now, it's too late. We go."
