Tonight (or rather this morning) at about 2-4am, there will be an absolute eclipse of the moon. I know I am setting my alarm to get up and look at it. It's gonna be beautiful.

From what I've been told, it's a hoax. I'll be up that early anyway though, just to see for myself.
The official story is that Mars will be so close to Earth, that the moon and Mars will overlap. We can be Tatooine for a night!

No. It's just an eclipse. It's the year for it.

Well I woke up and it was gorgeous. The red glow was amazing, especially since I got up when there was only a sliver of silver left (heh... say that ten times fast). The stars, because there was hardly any moonlight, were brilliant.

I saw it right when it started and sat through the whole thing. Needless to say, work was not nearly as fun as it could of been...wait, work is never fun.
