Kale diverged from his task to see his friend's progress. He saw the whole scene and laughed heartily. But when Aoshi failed to wake up, Aoshi yelled at him intently. "AOSHI! You bum, wake up! You won't pass that way! Borne said you had to hover it above your desk, not let it freefall! He seems the type to use small details against you. I wouldn't take the chance."

Kimmy sighed in dissapointment. "Well that didnt work." Kimmy picked up her orb and walked to her desk.her concentration was starting to deteriorate and she wanted to go exploring. Shaking her head she forced herself to keep her mint on the task at hand. Then suddenly a memory flashed through her brain.
"Stop touching me." Mesphia practically growled as Kimmy and Naome poked her again.
"We arn't touching you." Naome replied as they leaned up against her. Kimmy giggled wildly thinking this was enormously amusing.
"Yes you are! Now get off I'm trying to sew!" The blonde snapped her patience running out. They had been bugging her for a half an hour.
"Actually they arn't." Tiny replied smiling faintly. "They are touching your dress. Plus hardly anything ever truely touches. You feel Like your being touched but there is actually an atoms's worth of space between you."
((OK I dont know if that's actually true or not but my 8th grade science teacher said that so I'm going to use it. ;P))
Kimmy shook her head and then set the orb on the desk then sat staring at the clock. If she could somehow convince Minate that the orb actualy was hovering above the desk because her dead but very smart friend said so, then she was good to go.

Aoshi woked up and sighed softly. His friend was right. Sitting up and grabbing ahold of the orb, he set it upon the desk and went back to sleep. He just passed again.
(Nice thinking Thistle. ^.~)

(Seperate real life from role playing. This is Aoshi; if he can pass the test in an easy manner, no matter if it is copying, he'll do it. Have Minate correct him or something.)

Boomer winced, the orb he was so easily handling nearly hit him in the face. He tried concentrating on the ball, but it was ever so slippery! It bounced and nearly hit Silvanus, likewise struggling with the ball.
Silvanus flipped over and glared at Boomer, he figured the glare would give the boy the idea. He felt like he was underwater trying to keep a ball underwater, the ball however never really agreed with him. He would have it stable for a moment, then it flew in the direction of Boomer.
Boomer dodged the orb, and threw a similar glare at Silvanus.

(Unless someone wants to take over, this thread, as far as my involvement and management, is over.)

][ Alright, Reincarnation time. I'm moving the thread ahead, to a new lesson, since this one is a little stale. It might take a moment to grab your character back again, or for everyone to rejoin. Feel free to continue your characters or use new ones, we're going to be trying this again. ][
It hadn't even been a week past since the new recruits, along with their teacher High Borne had entered the school, but the class, being so small, already had a set sort of society to it. Friends had been established, prowess and potential had been discovered, and everyone had learned to fear anew each day with Minate's strange lessons.
This day, nothing so far had seemed out of the ordinary. Usually the 'lessons' involved sudden and impossible things happening without warning. So far, everyone had made it to their seats and Minate hadn't even looked up from the book he was reading at his desk which lay at the head of the room.
Kale sat slouched, impatiently strumming his fingers on his desk in a cadenced rhythm that he didn't even have to think about to produce. This week so far had been the worst he could remember in a long time. Starting with his failure on the first lesson, Kale had faced increasing difficulties in the lessons that this wack-job teacher presented. Putting fire into a balloon to make it float? Using wind to bend paper into recognizable shapes? Wielding water to move and seperate liquid substances? Molding spirit to reject conscious thought? Combining two types of mineral earth to create an alloy? What was the applicable use of all this madness!? What useless boring junk!

Kimmy sat there with her head down on the desk. She was not a morning person and wished class started later in the day. It was very irritating since her 'counterpart' was sitting there smiling like a complete empty headed retard.
Libby was indeed sitting there smiling at everyone. She was a morning person. She couldnt help it. Though, she really wasn't as stupid as she let on. In fact she was rather smart. Not brilliant, but smart enough. She just put on her facade when she was around other people so no one would pay attention to her. She had learned from an early age that if you acted stupidly then people would talk about important things around you without really worrying about you overhearing it. She wanted to be an spy some day.

Elauna sat upright at her desk, a perfect picture of an lady. She had a look of slight boredom on her face this morning; she wished that they would get around to doing something soon. She had finally begun to get used to the workings here with her mother's help. She looked over at Tai'sho and chuckled as she took note of him playing with metal, folding it like it were paper. He must be bored, too...

Kire wasn't asleep on his desk, but neither was he sitting still. He occupied himself mainly with a little green glass bead he'd found, rolling it around with his fingers, rather than using any sort of magic. Class would start soon he figured. Or whenever the teacher finished reading his newspaper or somesuch. He turned to Kimmy, grinning a bit at the sight of the very grumpy looking girl. She was kind of cute in a dorky way. Pity she was a walking disaster.

Kimmy felt eyes on her. She titled her head to look slightly behind her and saw Kire grinning at her. She attempted to smile back but after a moment of what looked more like a grimace she gave up and turned her head back into her arms. She sat bolt upright with a yelp a few seconds later when she felt a jolt in the vicinity of her rear. She glared around the room and saw Libby trying to keep a straight face.
Libby was getting rather bored. And so she decided to pick on the other red head in the class. It really was too easy since the girl was not the brightest. So to make sure Kimmy knew where the jolt had come from she let herself smile in amusement. "I hope the lesson starts soon."

Elauna looked over at the sudden yelp, and smiled when she assessed the situation. Turning to her twin, she whispered, "I do hope we begin. Mum could teach us more in the amount of time we've waited for a lesson than this man could teach us in two days."
Jeshon came into the room, mussing his brown hair as he walked to his desk next to Kire. He sat down with a tired sigh. "Late as usual... but just on time for the lesson as always." He grinned at himself; he knew the teacher all too well.
