Obama won the Democratic Primary. Were I to guess, I'd say the presidential race will look as follows:
Obama and Hillary
McCain and Romney

Um, I REALLY don't think Obama will have the big ugly man-doll as his VP.

As much as I hope he doesn't, there is serious vote potential in the combo. I don't want her in the house AT ALL. Nor do I want the Dems in charge of both the Senate and the White House, there NEEDS to be a balance. That's what our country was founded on. Besides...She's a crusty old wench.
McCain and Romney would be amazing though, they would totally win my vote.

If Hillary wins someone will need to hide all the belts, bedsheets, belts, and everything that I could choke myself to death with out of the house. ((Kidding, I just don't want her in the house.))

Well, Hillary can't win at this point, so it's gonna be ok.

I've heard a lot of people's opinions on Senator Barack Obama, and the main issue with him is that he doesn't have much political experience. What do you think?
I personally believe that I want someone in the office with very little political experience and with the voice of the people, since the voice and experience never seem to co-exist. Someone whose not use to stabbing each other in the back and giving lies to gain the upper-hand. Politics had turned this country in a direction that allows both justices and in-justices the right to sue for millions of dollars, and the in-justice is out-weighing the justice. So all in all, I believe very little experience combined with the voice of the people would make a very entertaining term to see how he can re-shape the U.S.

I would agree except for the fact that everyone ELSE in politics will know how to stab HIM in the back. The president really cannot use all that much power if the people in the offices around him don't want to give it to him.
Another thing that has me nervous are the people he associates with. I thought I was voting for Barack before his connections were released. It's true he got away from the church that was totally racist and whatnot, but that doesn't mean he hadn't been going and perhaps believing what was said about "whites." His wife frightens me as well - she seems really kind until she slips something out there that makes you think, "Whaaaaatt??"
*Shakes head* Either way, we're screwed.

I think I'll just hide in a box until the next presidential election.

I've grown a large disliking for the republican party while Bush has been in office, and my father refuses to vote for either Obama or McCain, thus I get to listen to all of the latest political issues at the dinner table...
Anyways, I agree about the whole lack of experience thing when it comes to others stabbing him in the back, but he seems like quite the intelligent man and capable of handling his own. Although the whole church association thing does push a rather large point. Though he has distanced himself from the church and all it represents, how does a person attend a church once a week for twenty years and not know anything that's going on within the church? I mean, I did it for like ten years but twice that's a bit difficult.
No, not really but I felt the urge to say it. I've been rather sacreligious lately...
Anyways, back to the topic at hand. I'm pretty sure I over-heard something along the lines of Obama picking up an military retiree as a possible VP canidate?

That would be a little better. I might have a little more faith in the guy, but at the same time, he played the typical political move when he discontinued his membership to the church. "Oh, THAT'S what you want to hear? Oh, OK!"
The only thing I like about Obama is that he hasn't been 'tainted' by the political system for very long. At the same time, that's his weakness. I like his wife though, seems like a very friendly woman.
Angry old man vs. Inexperienced popular guy. Seems like it's going to be a case of "the lesser of two weevils."
