*nod* From te audience, at least my perspective ( with my glasses on mind you) it looked like Princy McPrincerton was on the baker's wife, not beside.
Diction is always something that can be stronger. The larget th cast in a single song, the more diction you need.
I liked Baker, Red, wolf, princes, baker's wife.. actually.. I liked all the parts. Alot. Rapunzel i was skeptical at first, but she turned my thoughts right around with that ead jerk. Love it.
I thought the sword thing was the most hilarious part... That and the timed toe sanding.
Jack I too was skeptical about, but as it's his first shot on stage that I've seen I was hppy with it. His voice is alright, could use a little direction, but his expression and tone when he's acting, the way he said he wanted to kill the guardsman character, made me like it alot more.
Nice of you to play devil's advocate too Echo. If the words cut sligtly people with tend to think on them more. I wouldn't have suspected Klem to have made those scenes, though it's comforting to know he did, because I saw a bit of Giddens in them. Even still, a good performance.
Costumes: Amazing. Made me harken back to Les Miz, and to a lesser Extent, B & da beest.
So good to hear Erin again, this time in a larger role. I heard her audition and simply sat in awe at the haunting quality of her voice when she belted a song from wicked. No good deed? I can't remember...
And if it's a big enough deal, I'll be paying for Echo's ticket anyway, because I'm seeing the show again this saturday.
