Annie rounds the corner and screams when she sees the young girl's body and her stupified brother. She looks at the unconcious Kris and groans. The pink-haired girl looks at the looming shape of Michael with a bit of fear, but she was too tramatized to really be all that frightened. "He live, right? I did not loose another friend, did I?" She kneels down next to her friend's body and looks at the wound.

The fleeting contact was like giving someone insane a moment of clarity and then taking it away. He stood rooted to the spot until a teacher passed by and tried to drag him away, her words lost in the emptiness he floated. He reacted to the force and recoiled, striking out like a blind infant. He struck hard and she fell as he ran the other way, nothing in his mind except to run.

Michael eyes glanced over at Annie, wondering how to respond. Apparently, this girl was losing a lot of friends upon this day, so being brutal was not something he wanted to do. Causing more damage wouldn't help anyone at this point. It wouldn't even bring him comfort.
"He lives, but perhaps you'll keep him in a state of mind that does not involve stupidity..." Michael said as he looked back down the hallway, "Don't let him go hunting for something he can not defend himself against. An adventurer is what he is, but his adventures are merely illusions and dreams that he has not had the joy of experiencing." Michael then looked back into Annie's eyes, with his own abyssal sea-blue voids. Cold, dark, and never ending. "It would be best if you took you and your friends to a safe place until this killer has been taken down." Without giving the girl another thought, he made his way down the hall, once again.

Little Bernardo came around the corner very frightened looking for his brother and sister. He was only six and so he was trying to find his family who he had the utmost faith in. He knew that if he was with them everything would fine.
Those secure little thoughts were forced out of his mind when he saw his sister there on the ground a pool of blood around her shoulders and head. He saw his older brothere there still in a state of shock just staring as if the world had just collapsed under his feet. Slowly tears fell from the little boys cheeks and then they came in torrents. He ran to Marble and hugged him around the knees sobbing soundlessly.
Slowly Marble came out of his shock and knelt down hugging his little brother and before long he too was sobbing his heart out.

Kris suddenly awoke, his mind set on living. The only thought going through his head was where the killer was. He had nearly forgotten his wounds, when he tried to get up off the ground, his arm gave way from the bullet wound. He fell back on the ground, as his head made contact he saw the figure of Michael walking in the direction of the killer, "Where- where are you going?" He said, struggling to reamain conciouse. He figured he wasnt going after the killer, but he was curious. He turned his head to rest, when he saw the face of Annie staring down at him, the stain of tears upon her face. "Ha, you did'nt think I'd leave you here did you?"

(( Interesting.. I'll sit and watch for a bit.)) Sighing, Garret sulked against the wall, paying little attention to the others. "Annie? Yeah I thought i did see her..." muttered one of the students nearby. Garret pretended not to listen. "Supposed to be here.. Where.. Dunno." through the chattering and the generic scared noises the other students were making, this is all he could get out of it. He frowned more, pulling himself tighter into his flannel jacket.

Annie forced a smile to her face. "I am glad to see you awake. I suggest you get to the nurse's office. I will help you." The pink-haired girl turned to look at the sad scene of a broken family. She got up and walked to the boys. Even though the older one looked about 15, she knew that they would want any comfort they could get. She knew... because she wanted it as well.

Slipping on his headphones, he turned on his music and pumped up the volume. Through out the hallway could be heard the sound of faint metal smashing upon metal. A blend of industrial and Heavy Metal began to blare into Michael's ears. Oddly enough though, this heightened his awareness as his full focus went into his eyes. He was a natural born hunter and fighter. Finding this coward was his first objective. His next was to eat and go to bed.

Kris slowly got up, grabbing his shoulder in pain.He saw Annie's distressed look on her face when she walked over to the sad broken family. The feeling of rage filled him once again. "Wait!" He yelled to Michael. He pondered for a moment weather or not he would hunt for the shooter with him, but the rage would not blind him again, the pain in his shoulders reminded him of his stupidity. "Don't be stupid, you have no way of defending yourself, you will die." Kris said to him. He then remembered the stubborn attitude of his friend, "Hmm, doubt my opinions will change your own, will they? Whatever then, Don't die." Kris turned and began walking over to Annie, and patted her shoulder. "Hey, talk to them for awhile. That always seems to help me with my issues, and don't worry about me." kris showed Annie his hand, covered in blood, but in the middle was the bullet that he had been shot with. It had fallen out when he fell.
He looked at the faces of the horrid scene in front of him, the girl was probably dead. It wasn't that fact that made him cry however, it was the fact that her family would not have her running off the school bus to there warm home. Kris thought to himself how his family would feel if he had died from that bullet... He looked at Annie again, he knew she would be rather distrought if he had died, which gave a him a lot of comfort. But none the less, he knelt down next to the family, and hugged them and cried along with them, sharing the load.
(The bullet came out somehow, as impossible as it may be, it was a lot easier than having him go to the hospital and getting it surgically removed.)

(( I sat down a few days ago in my car, thinking over that exact fact Brains.. It's a wonderful feeling to know that if you were to be hurt or killed, it would affect people. People would care, cry, mourn...It means you matter so someone. It's a strangely comforting feeling. albeit morbid.))
Time seemed to pass slowly for Garret, the boy still trapped thoroughly inside the classroom with the other students. The shooter apparantly still threatened the school, running rampant through the halls. He frowned, adjusting his ripped up gloves. To the boy's right were some kids playing cards, one of the other students had brought a gameboy. The reception inside the building sucked, the outer layer of brick kept any transmissions inside it. Some kids were scared, some were arrogantly brave about the whole ordeal, some were just wondering if it was a drill. He remained against the wall, slinking off a little into a shadowy corner to brood about what's going on...

Despite the music that blared through this headphones, he still heard Kris and laughed to himself as he continued to walk. He was raised around men with guns his entire life. He himself was trained in an array of weaponry, such as the AK-47, M-16, 9mm, Shotguns of all variations, Rifles of all kinds, etc. He was an excellent marksman. If that wasn't enough, he wieled a hunting knife on him at all times. It barely passed the legal measurement to be carried in public. He knew how to defend himself.
In his ears began to play South Texas Deathride by The Union Underground. Great song. He bobbed his head in appreciation.

((Obviously, this is as far as it is going... so I will abruptly end it.))
There was a masculine scream from another hall, and Annie looked up at the sound of it.
Coming down the hallway was a band of security officers, trying to contain a struggling boy. "I am a victim! It wasn't my fault!" Annie knew him. Karamil.

"What?!" Kris said as he got up from hugging the group, he had seen this boy before, he was somewhat familiar. He had'nt decided weather or not this boy had shot someone, or had been shot. It did'nt matter, this boy was struggling with the Security, he had to be hiding something. And if he was the one that caused this, it would take more that a band of security guards to keep Kris from ripping Karamil's face off...slowly.

Coming up behind Kris, Michael looked over him towards the shooter. It was apparent that he was a coward, for no person who was well versed in fire arms nor the idea of honor, would admit to being a victim. Perhaps in a metaphorical manner, but not in the one that he was. Michael, with his soul piercing eyes, gazed over Kris from behind and layed a simple, but firm, hand upon his shoulder.
"Three have been shot, and two have been killed. I will not have another person hurt while I have the strength to end the fighting here." Michael's voice held wisdom like thread in an intricate design, but it also gave an authoritive feeling to the listeners. The message was clear; before harming the shooter, Kris would have to make it through Michael.

Karamil's eyes widen as he looks up and notices his peers... especially Annie.
