Any Albums you like, and would like to either review or talk about, post them here!
I don't now if any of you now this band, but the lead singer can sure sing. But he also roars in bunch of the songs so. Sorry Dark, you wouldn't like all the songs on this album. Although the songs that he just sings in are Discovering the Waterfront and Call it Karma.
Track listings...
1. My Sword vs Your Dagger
2. Smile in your Sleep
3. Ides of March
4. Fist Wrapped in Blood
5. Discovering the Waterfront
6. Defend you
7. My Heroine
8. Always and Never
9. Already Dead
10. Three Hours Back
11. Call it Karma
I really like this band they have a lot of potential, but yes they would fall under screamo at some points.
The thing that is great about this album is it tells a story, and you can feel that by the rhythm and the lyrics.
And let me tell ya, some of these lyrics are extremely well written, they rhyme and just flow perfectly with the way Shane Told (lead Vocal) executes his performance and uses his amazing vocals. But yes, at points he tends to let out throat shredding roars, which may at times overshadow (for some people) the great voice he posses.
Believe me, I do not really like music that has screams/roars.
But these guys are singing about life, and when there's frustration they let you know it.
Some of the songs are very intense and direct.
Others are very beautiful and extremely well
executed ("Discovering the Waterfront" very good song.)
As far as an album goes I give it [glow=red,2,300] 3 out of 5 stars.[/glow]
Mainly because it is very well written and they put their hearts into the performances. But these guys have a lot more to give, they have a lot of talent and I don't think they've come into their full potential quite yet (and need to cut down on the roaring). Still like it though.
Reaper's favorite song pics...
My Sword vs Your Dagger, Smile in Your Sleep, Ides of March,
Discovering the Waterfront, Call it Karma.
Reaper's Condemned Track...
Defend you.
Well written, well performed, amazing vocals, too much screaming harshen the mellow of this song. This Track is the song they scream the most in out of the whole album!
Therefore, it stands in condemnation.

And I will say for the last time, Shane Told has an amazing voice. And if he recognizes his talents, he'll go far.
