What is your opinion on this ever-present topic? ...(Know that if you pick "Hate Star Trek" you run the risk of me never speaking to you again. )

I see someone has chosen "Hate Star Trek". Know now that you are on my list of mortal enemies. >:<(

The X-files is a Star Trek wanna be. However good it may be, no character can ever outdo Q.

You can't even compare The X Files to Star Trek. They're completely different. You know, I never liked Deep Space Nine.... Don't ask me why, I just never did.

The original is the Pwnage, and I have deemed it so.

Ah yes, I forgot about the great captain Kirk... But I already voted, so I'll stick with... Wait?... TNG has Data! [glow=red,2,300]Data rules all!!!![/glow] So I'd say I voted right.

Really Deliverance? I thought you were a "Q" person.

So...I guess they all have their good points. Original has automatic awesomeness (although realy bad technology relative to today). TNG is more modern-ish & has many time dilemmas, along with cool people like Guynan and Data (though looking back sometimes seems a bit cheesy). DS9 is very good & deals with the characters a lot (though Station is stuck in one spot and the Prophets are weird). Voyager is cool and has good plot, but Janeway's a little altruistic. Enterprise is very good and has good storyline, but has trouble connecting the dots - both in itself and connecting to "later" Star Trek.

About Q...He shows up in three different series. Which one is he best in? (I think probably Voyager).

Alas, I have never watched star trek, nor have any plans to. It isn't my dislike of the series, simply that i am ignorant and therefore unattracted to the mass appeal. And trekkie-fanatics scare me... I swear, if one more semi-retarded two-hundred pound hairy 32 year old who lives with his mother speaks to me in Klingon i will take a lead pipe to their forearms.

"One more" ? ...Has this happened BEFORE or something?
(By The Way - I have 2 books that teach you how to speak Klingon! I haven't really gotten into them yet, but I will at some point....Be prepared...) *manaical laughter and scary music*
