Episode III is Awesome and anyone who says otherwise has issues *Raises her hand and jumps up and down excitedly* I knew I had issues!!! I think that Lucas should be careful about how political he is suddenly getting in all of his movies. I still like the story line... I've always loved Star Wars and the story. The script, however, was terrible. WONDERFUl battle scenes, and brilliant animation. But the script sucked. Really, listen to it.

You should pay attention to the morals of the story next time you watch it. It's very direct on how men become corrupted. You can learn something believe it or not.
Dark, are you talking about the Star Wars script in general or just the new Star Wars movies?
Cause, I don't recall it ever having a ground breaking script, lol.

Really? I believed the script in the original trilogy was well made. I think one of the main reasons it stunk this time around was Lucas's horrible attempt at romance. Bet he's never even been in love, (luckily at that moment, an unconscious Argentinian fell through my roof. Followed quickly by a dwarf dressed as a nun...) Although Episode three had some bits and pieces of dialogue I liked. I liked Ani's comments before they fight. How he's fighting for peace, and too save the women he loves. Except how he feel that she backstabbed him. ani's got anger issues.

Episode III had some parts that were very well written and it had some parts that were really terrible. And the dialog before the fight scene with Obi Wan and Anakin would have to be one of the well written parts.

I am only talking about the script for III. I love IV, V and VI with such a passion! But I really was disappointed in II and III. The style is so changed... ugh. I don't like it. And I know the morals are great. I enjoy it still. However, like I said.... THE SCRIPT NEEDS MORE WORK!!

...I thought the morals where awesome, yet strangely shown. For example, Anakin loved Padme so much that he went insane trying to protect her. Now sure, if you love someone, you must protect them. But Ani went insane... Crazy guy. Yet he is so awesome.
"The Jedi turned against me. Don't you turn against me!" "Anakin, your going down a path I can't follow...I love you." Obi wan walks down runway "Liar!" Chokey lack-o-air noises.
(so awesome, with this new green M&M setup, all my posts are black... I am...So cool!)

It's not that he loved her so much. It was his fear of losing what he loved.

True, but he feared losing her because he loved her so much. If he didnt love her, he really wouldn't have cared much, and probably would have smote her.

looking back, I think the new ones are great. They put a whole new spin on the series that no one really saw before. That there are more abstract worlds and that there are more than just rebel missions to blow up things multiple times. Though, admittedly, George Lucas writes love stories worse than a harlequin and sillohuette novelist...
I liked the old ones, though comparing them to now, they were pretty cheesy in their effects. They did so much with so little, and, in its time, it was amazing top-quality. It still has a wonderful story, great characters, and han solo, but the 3d-graphics are much nicer now. And yoda isn't attatched to poles!
