"Err.. I don't remember anymore. He's always mad..." Zephyr replied, hastily shoving a large table in the way of the door. Patches came out, his pirate hat still atop his head.
"I had to install a few hatches, but they're battoned now!" replied the flesh golem cheerily. Suddenly the door, table, elf and all, burst open, sending things flying. A large man in blood-red leather armor with stark black hair burst into the room cursing up a storm. Zephyr hid underneath a table that was thrown upon him...

"Ow!!" Sugarplum crawled out from under a book that had landed on her and glared up at the man. She flies up to his face, hovering three inches in front of it. "You be in trouble, you be! I coulda been 'urt, I could have!! Now, who be you, then?"

Patches watched, worrying that the man might swat the fairy away. The broad shouldered brute in red leather seemed to instinctivly know where the elf was, pushing past the diminuative bloackade that was sugarplum and plowing through patches, pulling the table off with one hand, the elf into the air with the other. "Where have you been?!" he shouted angrily, the elf lifted up into the air by the front of his collar.
"Mord... how.. nice to see you again too," sputtered the elf, seemingly afraid of this man.
Patches gave an apologetic look to the fairy, who was still a customer. "Sorry, this usually doesnt happen..." muttered the golem with a worried smile. "Though.. it is the first day."

Sugarplum's eyes were wide... she had been diliberately pushed aside! "I dare say, that man is not a gentleman at all."

Patches seemed to watch impersonally, nodding his head with agreement. "Nope.. I don't think a gentleman would help someone up like that," he said, pointing to Zephyr's feet, which were a few feet off the ground.
"M,mord.. what do you mean? I've been.. on my way." he said with a smile. "It doesn't much look like you're on your way back elf.. judguing by the fact that you've been in this town for half a year, and you've constructed a shop within it!" the human shouted into Zephyr's face with a look of fury. It was a wonder he wasn't choking the poor rogue. "You're extremely late heading back to the castle in Mithalin! The queen has been overly patient. I would have put a bounty on your head by now, but she insisted not to."

Mord turned his head, as if seeing the pink-haired thing for the first time. "Queen S-.. what.. are you?" he asked rather rudely, confused about the fairy. He'd been aroun very few fae.. and the fae were all very happy with that.

"She is the queen of Mithalin, the kingdom across the mountains from here." Mord said, sounding annoyed that this faerie was slowing down his capture of the elf. "Come along elf, we're heading back! You're still in servitude," the leather-bound warrior declared, carrying zephyr over his shoulder like some child. "Mord let me go! I can't return there, I've got something to do here!" he replied, trying to wriggle out of mord's grip. "Your service here is unimportant..." remarked, tighening his grip on the elf's legs. "Patches! HELP!" shouted the elf, as the flesh golem blocked the doorway, his pirate cutlass drawn. "Avast matey! Ye best be puttin the elf's booty down now!" he ordered. Zephyr smacked himself in the face.

"Yes, that would be wise." A voice said from behind Mord. A arrow was about three inches away from the back of his head, and already nocked in a bow. Aegis chuckled to himself at his amazing sneaking ability. Not only did he manage to climb into the second story window, but also not be caught going down the stairs. "Perhaps there are better ways to settle this, I would'nt want to have Zephyr and Patches clean the floor..."

But mord did not let go. He still held the elf in the air, turning his gaze to his left, as if he could see the archer. "You don't give me orders. I'm on duty, and this elf is AWOL." Mord explained with his gravelly voice. Zephyr laughed nervously, kicking his feet uselessly.

"How much will it take to pay you off?" Aegis commanded.

Mord snorted. "Do you take me for some gold-pinching sellsword? I'm on duty for the Queen." the tall man told the archer behind him. "And were I not busy I would likely take you in for bribery," Mord, with his hands busy with Zephyr's collar, couldn't reach the annoying fly tapping him with the spoon, so he simply glared daggers at it. "Listen Mord, can't we talk about this?" he asked, trying to weasel his way out of whatever responsibility he had ditched, a quick hand grabbed Sugarplum, placing her in a pocket carefully.. Mord would have killed her if he had the ability, he didn't want her hurt, and he believed she'd forgive him later.
Patches moved his hands iup and open in a passive position, holding them toward Aegis. "Woah woah matey, let's put down yer shooter. No blood shall be shed on my walk, lest ye walk the plank."
