Some of you might know about it, and some may not. Basically, me and Emmy (My Ex) are planning a trip to Sakura-con with hotel rooms at the Hilton in Seattle. Depending on the number of people we get to come with us will determine the number of rooms and whether or not each room gets seperate sexes (ex: Male room and Female room). Now many might not have the funds for these rooms, which depending on my financial status, I will probably provide but I will ask for some kind of basic amount from everyone.
Sakura-Con Main Site
Now, we plan on going for the entire weekend, so plan for such as I don't want to make any runs between here and Seattle except for emergencies.
FAQ Page
You might wish to check out the link above which will provide you with all of the basic information regarding the convention.
Basic Info:
Dates: March 28th to March 30th
Price(Tickets): Until March 2nd, $45. $60 at the door.
Just get the parents/guardians signature on the request form from Registration Form.
This was found on the Sakura-Con Policies page.
This basically means that for those of you who are between the ages of 13 to 17, must have written permission from your parents designating someone who is 18+ as your designated guardian. Now, both myself and Emmy are 18+, Emmy being 20 and myself 18, so we can take those roles and I would be more than comfortable meeting with parents individually to discuss the special terms of people going.
Now, with that being said, who is some-what interested? We're trying to get a large group to go but a few people are just as good. For more information regarding the convention, look at the main site itself and as far as transportation arrangements, we have my Toyota Corolla with a capacity of 5 and luggage, 2 spots being taken. So if anyone would like to drive as well, we will mainly in Seattle with no need of cars other than the drive there and back again.
