((OOOhhhh... how exciting. Shivelle is gonna hate ships for the rest of her life.))
Shivelle felt a smile tug at the corner of her mouth as she gently pushed Pukk away and stroked the nymph's soft, flowing hair. "Be nice, now, Pukk. We don't want to have the nasty mage man get all angry and ugly, would we?" She was getting bolder with her comments... but, for some reason, she believed that she could get away with it.

Melody nearly passed out with fear when she felt Magus' angry glare on her. She didn't but she was very pale and was shuddering costantly. "N-no we dont want z-zat!" she said shakig her head rapidly.

Shivelle looks down at the little being in alarm. "Are you all right?"

(( nah, forget about having it set-up like PotC, i have a better idea.)) "The tide is in.. everyone head onto the rowboat, head for shore. I'll take care of landing this ship," Magus said, pointing toward the dingey. He grins darkly, and pulled on the cuffs of his gloves.

Shivelle's eyes become dangerously wide. "...Rowboat? What? You mean... tiny, rocky thing that barely floats?" She looks out to the mist, shudders, then looks back at the mage. "Is it okay if I stay here...?"

"You have wings, remember? Fly to the shore if you want, but it doesn't matter. The water's hardly a sixty feet deep," Magus replied, waving with his hand toward the island they were arriving at, though his voice wasn't angry or annoyed, simply the kind that stated "find an easy solution, I'm working on something."

"Wecould tie one end of a rope to her and ze ozer end to ze boat so she wont get lost when she flies." Melody said to Pukk as she tried to find a solution to the problem.

Shivelle looked slightly uncomfortable. "Umm... well... the whole wing thing is not as easy as that. In order to sprout them, I have to let loose my inner demon... the part of me that is a vampire. I have not fed for a very long time... and I am afraid it would get the best of me in this cercumstance. I think I will just stay here and wrap myself around the mast and hold on for dear life if that is alright with you..."

"Just be quiet while you do, I'll need to concentrate," Magus remarked, turning to the rigging to climb up in the crow's nest. (( Oh she'll love this))

((I'll bet she will))
Glowering, Shivelle let the nymph girl out of her lap and moved to the mast. "Okay, Pukk and Melody, you'll need to get out of here pretty fast. His Lordship is in one of his moods again."

Melody paled considerably and started looking for a place to hide in a slight panic.

"Forget it, just find something to hold onto, and stay out of my way..." Magus told them from the rigging, climbing higher into the crow's nest.
The view was spectacular.
He rose his arms, looking over the ship and examining everything carefully, before beginning to chant a lengthy, quick-paced stirng of words, all sounding harsh and in a minor key. The air around him darkened, and small reams of purple land blue light began to encircle him, like the aurora borealis, but centered around him and much smaller.
Suddenly, the ship began to move again, and you could no longer feel the rock of the ship on the sea, or hear the waves crashing against the side of the ship.
They were floating toward the shore.

Melody clung to the side of the ship looking terrified and fascinated at the same time. She had never experienced anything like this in her whole life. She slightly missed the rhythmic rocking of the ship but she decided that this was nice too because Shivelle would be able to get onto land where she seemed more comfortable.

Shivelle's red eyes widened in surprise as they floated. She was not sick anymore... she found herself wanting to whoop in happiness, but kept it to herself. Flight! Something she had not been able to do since her last battle! No longer feeling the need to hold anything, she stood just below the crow's nest, feeling the mist rush past her face.

The ship flew toward the islet at a very slow pace, until finally ceasing. There was a momentary feeling of freefalling, but it lasted less than a second before the sensation of hovering resumed itself. "We've stopped. Get off, and watch your step," Magus remarked as he flew down from the crows nest, moving toward a knotted rope and tossing the end that was not tied to the mast over the edge.
Te ship remained in place.. hovering 60 feet above the ground over the beach.
