"It's not my place to remain here, I have to go. I have a feeling my being here may only make matters worse," Magus said, turning to Pukk. "Come if you want, it doesn't matter much to me," Magus said, nodding. If he wanted to come, he would pay the price of admission: Labor. Turning to Shivelle, his eyes softened, if only for a second. "The ocean, the obstacle that separates our land from countless others. Will..you be coming wi-... along as well?" he asked...almost nervously, slightly hesitating to say the question.

Tion felt a wave of relief when she opened the door. This feeling soon died, however, when he saw the state she was in. Without thinking he reached out and hugged her to him.
"Come on Chyenne." The kerath murmured. "You can pull through this. I know you loved him a lot but you have to let him go OK? It is not healthy to go on like this. He wouldn't be happy to see you suffering would he? None of us are either. Melody is taking it really hard." Tion wanted to say he was too but he he didn't want to seem like he was still pursuing her. He had Annie now and he didn't think she would appreciate it too much if she thought he was still in love with Chyenne. Because he wasn't. Really he wasn't.

Unsure what to do, Pukk perkily piped up " So....Where are we going?"
((Ahh, the power of Ps!!!))

Chyenne was silent. She did not return the hug, but her green eyes softened.
Shivelle, catching a slight pause in Magus' words, cocked her head. "I... suppose I will... but I am worried about Mistress Dark and what will become of her. She helped me... I want to help her."

"...If you think there's anything you can do for her, stay if you want." the mage replied, turning away. It was something in his inflection, but he seemed almost "put out" by her response, despite her intentions. "We'll be heading out to sea, off to wherever the black wind takes us." With that said, he started walking slowly.

Thistle looked up at the vampiress. Her eyes held only a fraction of the gleam they should have. "Go ahead and go Shivy. I'll take care of her. I think she needs to work this out herself. If she needs a talking to I will be here." Her face lit up with a mischievous smile that even reached her eyes. "Go have fun with your beau."
Melody cautiously followed Magus. He still scared her out her wits and so she didn't want to get to close to him in case he suddenly got irritated for some reason.

The vampiress' eyebrow raised at the sound of Thistle's name for her, but she seemed slightly elated at the thought of Magus beingher beau for some reason... though she was definately surprised as well... and slightly uncomfortable. Why were her cheeks suddenly warm?

Pukk turned and followed Raiku. He stopped ffor a moment to gaze at the Tavern from a distance, but the pull of adventure was too insistant; he continued in his course.
As he walked he turned to Melody. "Are you excited?" he asked her.

(( if you're coming to it, you can have joined up. I think all who were coming announced it. I'm just zooming forward a bit.))
The docks were old and nothing to look at, warped and weathered wood, with seaweed and barnacles sprouting from all over. The decrepit port only made the enourmous ship docked there look even more grand. It was of a definitly different design than most ships. It appeared to be a blend of several cultures endowed into one (European ship in the hands of an asian shipwright). It was no battleship, but it appeared to be fast, and sturdy enough. "There should be enough rooms for the rabble I seem to have collected," Magus told them, as if they weren't there behind him.

Pukk peered around Magus at the ship. It was like nothing he had ever ridden in. "Are you sure we'll be safe in that thing? It looks like it's seen better days........not that I know much about boats!" he added quickly, fearing he may have offended Magus.

Shivelle looks out at the water, a look of mixed emotion on her face. She had never seen such an expansive body of water before, and she had no idea what to make of it. Why was it blue? All the water she had ever seen was clear! And how deep was it? What on earth were those things growing out of it. She shrank back off the dock a step, her red eyes wide and slightly panicked.

"The poor sot I bought it from hadn't maintained it in a port in years... So yes, it has seen better days, though very few..." he replied to Pukk, sneering.
Magus peered to Shivelle, seeing the state she was in. "You're not drowning yet, there's no reason to act that way." It may have seemed cold, but Magus was never the type to reassure, and, old habits were hard to break.
"Let's get this ship ready," he said, perhaps if only to himself, and began casting spells, loosing ropes and pulling sails down with waves of his hands. "Anyone with a strong set of arms can help raise the anchor," he said, while busily getting things prepared.

Raiku tightened the rope keeping the anchor raised. "There." He said, rubbing his hands together.
He had removed his heavy cloak and the majority of the blades he often equipped, with the exception of his right-handed scimitar tucked into his black sash. His bandanna kept the hair out of his face, and his dark sleeveless shirt (ripped, it did not come that way) made the sea wind a little more bearable against his bare flesh. The fingerless gloves he wore were tighter than normal, and his baggy pants fit nicely into his mariner boots. Typical pirate look, and Raiku pulled it off well.
"As much as I enjoy spending my days in the wood, there are no more ents to kill." He said, slightly sarcastically in the general vicinity of the deck. Not trying to surprise Magus by his sudden appearance, he walked right passed him saying "I figured asking for your permission to board your ship was irrelevant, I would have boarded no matter your response."

From beneath the deck a brown mess stirred. It moved up from the wood, beginning to look like a head, then arms moved up to the mess. As the hands worked through the hair a face was visible, and yawning ensued. The girl took care in braiding the map of hair, then looked around. "Oh...Naims, it seems we have taken to sleeping anywhere."
A lump next to her rolled over, the short red hair flat on one side. With her eyes half open she said, "It's Naomi, Shiori, not Naims," in a sleepy tone.
The boat moved with the waves beneath them, waking two more lumps, one blonde and the other with lighter red hair than Naomi. The last one spoke in a squeaky voice next. "Why is the house moving? Naomi, I'm scared."
"Perhaps you shouldn't just complain, Rika. Your voice is annoying when I wake up." The blonde said, tying her long hair into a ponytail, and purposely hitting Rika with it.
"Yumiko that was rude. I shall go and see, no fighting you three," Naomi warned, then headed up the ladder. "Werem't these stairs?" she muttered, then got to the top.
On the deck she looked around for someone that could explain where they were, and how they ended up there. Squinting in the sun, she saw two dark figures ahead of her that appeared to know what they were doing. Wandering over she asked, "Any idea you had people as cargo, or how we got there?"
The three girls below had climbed to the top, with the exception of Yumiko who was floating. Shiori and Yumiko's long hair was flapping in the breeze, while Rika's was getting tossled by it. They were all waiting intently for an answer.
