(( yay! piccolo! And why always with the orbs? Why cant i create pyramids or polyhedrons of destruction?))
Aramil turned around, frowning and looking around for Raiku. "Hey.. where'd you go?" Aramil asked the air. There was no reply but the quiet howl of the wind. It wasn't until now that Aramil realised how cold and dark it was on this mountain... "Hello? Hey! Where are you?!" he shouted, raising his hands to his mouth. But only Aramil's own frightened cries replied to him, echoing against the uncaring cliffs around him.
The little elf moved over to the edge of the mountain, seeing if maybe he could see the village from up here. It had to be somewhere around this area right? But it was still daytime there, and the sun was already gone here. It was no good, he could see any lights or anything down below... and there was a lot of land way down there. The sight churned Aramil's stomach. He'd never been so high in his little life. He immediatly backed up, as far from the edge as possible. "Where did you go?!" Aramil called out once more, practically hugging the tree.
There was a crack... an owl hooting... Wolves way down below howled. Though they couldn't reach him up here, the thought that there were wild animals around that could rip him to shreds did nothing to soothe his rapidly beating heart. He had never been this alone before... And it scared him to death.

This was the beginning of Raiku's plan. The boy had no survival skills at all, so he would obviously have to learn how to defend himself when say...a wolf showed up.
Something moved in the bushes relatively close to Aramil.

(( or get mauled! Whee! ))
The noise being so close made him creep away from the bushes... He didn't trust shadows, or noises. Right now he was in the mindset where anything would spook him. His green eyes were tiny pupils as he stood up on his feet, failing to find anything to use as a weapon.

A small puddle nearby Aramil swirled upwards. As the water splashed in all directions a small sword appeared in it's place.
(Wow, I was going to use dust...oh well)

"I never should have said yes" thought Aramil, taking the sword which floated in the air. This was all so weird, and frightening. The boy held the sword up in front of him, looking terrified at the bush. The blade wobbled in his shaking hands, as he held up his paltry defensive stance.

The wolf burst through the bushes, glaring at Aramil. It's peircing red eyes stared at Aramil, searching for potential weak points. This boy knew nothing about fighting, it would be an easy kill. Or at least it would have been if Raiku was not controling it. The wolf, though it posed no threat to Aramil, began pacing around him.

Aramil didn't have the sense to mimic the steps of the wolf. He was rooted to the ground with fear, sweating. "Stay back..! I'm warning you...I'll cut you in two!" he shouted feebly. His trembling seemed to throw off the intensity of the bluff.

Wolfy growled (wolfy...oh the witt!) at the foolish lad. Raiku had to imitate the moves of an actual wolf, and an actual wolf would not wait for Aramil to react. It lunged straightforward at the boy.

Run! The voice shouted in his head. Some inner instinct. Regardless, Aramil knew he couldn't fight a wolf! He jumped to the side, landing on his belly, with the sword in his hand. Grunting, the boy scrambled to his feet, and bolted, running to the edge of the mountain cliff. He peered down.. It wasn't a straight plummet, but it sure was steep regardless, and covered in bushes and roots and the like. He looked back, to see where the wolf was.

The wolf slid, it did not expect the boy to dodge like that. Regaining it's bearings, the wolf stared at Aramil one last time. Lunging forward, the wolf had completly forgot about the cliff behind, it's eyes set only on his prey.
Raiku flinched, this was going to hurt...

Aramil Swung wildly, closing his eyes and clenching them shut. While it did not stop the wolf from plowing into him, it did catch the wolf's underside, cutting it's legs. The animal bowled him over the edge, and instantly they were rolling down the mountainside, rocks, bushes, and roots doing little to slow the boy's path. Eventually Aramil hit a tree, which stopped him, where as the wolf went onwards.
A soft groan was heard from the boy's form. Everything hurt.. he was bleeding, with scrapes all over, bruises and dirt covering his body.

Raiku released the wolf from his mental cell. He did'nt want to be in control when the dog hit the ground.

Aramil did not move for hours afterward. When he did, everything stung. He was sniffling, trying not to cry as he picked himself off of the ground, pulling debris out of his hair and brushing away fdirt on his wounds. Hissing, he held his arm as his hand brushed a stinging place where his skin was shredded. He needed to find some water or something to wash everything out in.

Raiku levitated himself down to Aramil's level. "I am...sorry. I should not have left you on your first night out here." Lifting the boy up, he carried him to a nearby stream.

Aramil made a little effort to try and squirm free, but in his exhausted and battered state he was hardly in a state to resist even the most mild of grapples. The most he could do is mutter and try to keep raiku from touching some of the open scrapes. "I want to go back..." he mumbled. He didn't like this at all, this wasn't what he had expected when he heard they were going to be training him in magic and survival (the survival was never mentioned, but regardless).
