"Fine. I know a way out fast and sure, and if these others can keep up, then all will go well for you. Longtail will have quite the price to pay when I get you there." Naburine was now looking like nothing had happened. She was back to her beautiful, calm self.
Ferrel looked back at Fiona and gave her a wink. He liked Naburine a lot, and he loved to tease her. He had gotten her to give him a few scars over some things, but he always knew how to calm her down. It was not patience he had; it was experience. When Naburine was mad, you shut up or end up dead.

The next day dawned with a deep reddish glow coming through the street-level clouds. There was a dense fog, but one could tell that it was going to be a beautiful day. Perfect for traveling.

Naburine stood with her booted foot up against the tavern wall, near the back entrance. It was the rondezvous that she had suggested. She had her bare arms folded across her chest as she lounged about, waiting. It was dawn. They should be here. Didn't they know any ettiquite? Her caramel eyes constantly pierced through the fog, but she could not detect anyone yet.

Fiona came sauntering around the corner, her hands in her pockets, grinning at Naburine as she approached. "Don't tell me I'm the first one now..." she remarked quietly, peering around before joining Naburine's wall, though she kept her heels planted on the floor, and held her elbows high, her hands cushioining her head from the wall.
Leo walked down not long after, wearing an old straw hat, and a worn-out, brown leather cloak that had seen better days. A pipe and an old bag at his side, he looked at least 20 years older than he did last night in such terribly conditioned clothing, certainly not the dashing rogue there was before. Exactly how he wanted it to be. Being a smuggler by trade, he didn't like too much attention. He walked down the alley, stopping when he approached Naburine and Fiona to cough lightly, taking the pipe out of his mouth to peer at them. "Do you two happen to have the time on you? I fear I might be late for something..."

"It's past cerfew," Nabruine growled. "So you are late for something."
"Naburine, don't be so rude to your employer." Ferrel appeared beside her, his green eyes dancing with mirth as usual. He had looked at Leo's drab appearence and had grinned. He was not so charming-looking any more, and, for some reason, that made Ferrel feel slightly better about having to get up so early. "It's about six in the morning," he supplied cheerfully, but quietly. His outfit had not changed too much; his loose white shirt was now laced up and there was a brown vest over it to keep it from getting in the way, but that was it. There also were two whips curled up and resting in belt loops on either hip.

Nerisa walked briskly up to the group a few moments later. She had been working on a new ritual and unfortunately had lost track of time. "Well, we are all here. Should we not depart then?" The green eyed woman did not look quite the same as last night either. She had lots of belts that were filled with pouched and what seemed to be random things tied onto her. She also had her rapier at her side. It was sheathed except for the tip which had been cut off so that three inches of the blade stuck out. It was also hooked on in a way that that she could with a quick bump it would rotate in a full circle, or until you caught it, so that you could use it withough having to unsheath it. Sometimes it was a good thing to be on the good sides of gnomes.

Naburine shrugged. "It would not bug me at all. I would liked to have left earlier, so I am all for the 'depart' thing." She sounded rather prickly.

Leo nodded, "lead on then my gracious captain," he said with a formal bow, though there didn't seem to be any sarcasm in his voice. One arm was hidden beneath the cloak, likely holding the package...
Fiona regarded the cloaked figure oddly, then nodded, taking a quick sip from her hip flask. "Righ' then.. been a bit since I been on a ship... " she remarked, recalling the last pleasant encounter... "Still 'ave to kill that ol' man," said the swashbuckling rogue jokingly.. you think.
(( should we make a new thread for this, or just continue this in here? ))

((arg that I not be sure aboot. I think we already have a tavern for evil chars so I say we continue here.))
Nerisa nodded sharply. "At some point during our time together I will require a sample of each of you." She announced. "This could be in the form of blood or hair. I will let you choose." She tapped her foot inpatiently as she waited for whoever knew where their destination was to set off so they could start doing something.

((Aye. The Dragon Flaggon be our tavern fer the evil'uns.))
Naburine looked sharply at Nerisa, her eyes becoming very narrow - and behind her, one could see Ferrel take a protective step forward. "A 'sample'? Excuse me?" Ignoring it for now, because it was creepy to think about, Naburine walked to the front of the group. "Come on then. We're going to take a ship up the coast a bit more, and then we'll have to go the rest of the way on foot. The city we're trying to get to is landlocked. I have connections in these parts. Hitching a ride won't be a problem." With that, she began to lead the way through the mist, walking normally.
It was then that Ferrel noticed that something was different about Naburine's appearence this morning. He tried to place it, but was caught up in the swing of her hips for a brief moment. It was only when she pulled a piece of cloth down unconciously that he realised, with an odd twinge of disappointment, that almost all of her usually exposed skin was now covered. She wore a white shirt under her vest now, which was basically a female version of his own; the sleeves covered up some of her gold bracelets with their long sleeves. She wore black leather gauntlets on both hands and a black bandana on top of her head. And, for the first time in he did not know how many years, she had her hair tied back into a ponytail. A pity... he liked it down. Ah well. At least her leather pants were the same.

Nerisa swiftly followed Naburine. She let off an odd jangle of sounds as she did so. Vial's clinking together, powders shifting, papers crinkling, coins and other odds and ends chinking. There even seemed to be chirping and squeaking coming from her as well. And her boots clicked as she sternly took each step. It almost made a strange and chilling tune. There was no doubt that is was odd and was ment to throw people off or warn them away. You also couldn't help but know that if you were not used to all the noise it would become very irritating very quickly.
