((Sweet))
Melody watched Pukk with wide eyes as he went down. She, however, decided to go down the ladder. She looked down and took a deep breath. She hated going down. Slowly she made her way down to the deck.

Shivelle had not been surprised when the annoying little girl had come over to her. Nothing surprised her anymore. She fought the urge to turn and kill the kid for her cheekiness as the ship lurched forward. Catching herself uneasily on the ship's side. She growled to herself, thinking that the child was very lucky that she was so worried at the moment.

(( such a friendly lot of sailors aren't we? ))
The shore began to move, departing farther and farther away from the ship, as the waves crashed against the hull, making a dull roar.
(cue awesome travelling music)
Magus stepped out of the cabin, smirking again. "And on we go," he stated simpley, mood lightened by the fact that they were away from land and humanity. It was a feeling he missed.

Leaning farther than he should over the rail, Pukk saw several large, brightly colored fish leaping in and out of the water. They caught his eye and, by searching the pockets of his pilfered pants, he produced some fishing line and several interesting hooks. Having no stick, he tied the end of the line to his tail. Then something bit. Hard. "Whoa! Ack! HELP!" he hollered, tugging back as hard as he could.
((come on, a little community action, folks!))

Melody jumped several fet into the air when she heard Pukk screaming for help. She rushed over and looked over the side to see what he had caught. The nymph put a hand over her mouth to stop the giggles but it did not help any. On the end of the line was a bright orange fish with a large head and huge tearful eyes.
"I am sure zat you can do zis alone Pukk. Just give it your best."

Magus peered over the edge of the ship passivly, seeing what the little one had hooked as far as fish. Despite it's goofy appearance, it seemed rather large, and would likely make a better breakfast than what the stores had. He took a firm grip on the fishing line, wrapping it once or twice around his gloved hand. "Take the line in your hands," he told pukk, slowly pulling back on the line.

Straining to get the line within arm's reach, Pukk snatched at it. "Got it!" He started walking slowly back from the rail. One final heave, and the fish was flopping around on the deck. "Thanks, Magus" he said, grinning up at him. "That was close".

Shivelle actually managed to chuckle, albeit nervously, at the scene. She had never seen any type of fishing before, so this was new to her. Not to mention Magus being kind and helpful...

"Cook that," Magus told Pukk with a nod. Not glancing at Shivelle after hearing her laughter. "We have a destination, the ship is bound for the Red Sky Isles," he told everyone on deck, peering around fully now to guage their reactions.

"Uhh.....where should I cook it?" Pukk asked, "I could build a fire........only there isn't any wood...". He noticed some gunpowder barrels. "Oh! Wood! I could burn those!"

Melody squeaked and grabbed the fish from Pukk. "I shall cook it. And I will cook it down in the kitchen." The nymph quickly made her way down below deck to prepare the fish. What she meant by cooking was really just to clean the fish and then divide it up evenly between everyone.

Pukk followed her into the ship. "Really? Is there a fire down here?!"

"This isn't a large enough ship to support a kitchen with a stove," Magus muttered, wondering what Melody was up to. He cast another spell very nonchalantly and relaxed, motioning up to the ship's wheel as it slowly began to turn counterclockwise.
"The Red Sky Isles, it isn't a civilized land with a port, but it's Rumored to have once been home an a lost civilization of an Avian race," Magus explained to Shivelle. "Perhaps there's something that could be learned while we site-see," he seemed very calm and tranquil at the moment. "It's nice to feel the cold wind in my hair again, reminds me of home."

"But how are we gonna eat it if we don't cook it?" Pukk asked. "You're - you're not gonna eat it...raw are you? 'Cuz that would be GROSS!"
